阿娃之家（Ava's House）是泰国北部清迈周围阿卡山地区（Aca hill）的一个当地收容所，主要收容山区村庄的儿童。其中，一些是孤儿、一些需要安全保障和基本教育。

山区里里没有公立学校。许多女孩没有受教育的机会，常在十几岁时就怀孕。

阿娃之家由当（Dang）、他的妻子和妻子的妹妹星（Star）于2022年5月1日创立。住在阿娃之家的孩子们可以去附近的公立学校上学，得到基本庇护和保障。

现在，阿娃之家需要更多帮助。

像妈妈一样的“星”两周前去世了，供水箱最近也坏了。

所以，他们既需要众筹资金来修理水箱，也需要找到志愿者来帮助辅导孩子们功课，基本理财和英语等。

In this workshop, we introduce how to use viaPrize to crowdfund projects and introduce a local community.

Ava's House is a local shelter for kids mostly from disadvantaged indigenous communities among the Aca hill people around Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. Some of them are orphans and some of them need a safe place to stay as they attend classes in public schools that are not available in their villages. Many of the girls from their villages do not have education opportunities and often become pregnant as young teens. Staying at Ava House, the kids attend school and in tutoring also learn financial management and English skills and more thanks to volunteers.

Ava's House started in May 1 of 2022 by Dang, his wife, and his sister in law Star.

Star who was like a mom for the kids died two weeks ago. As well as this, the water tank for running water broke recently.

They can use help with both crowdfunding to fix the tank and to find volunteers to help tutor the kids.
